One of the rumored news about this latest update for the Penguin algorithm is that the new algorithm will be real time. It means that as soon as Google algorithm find a link to a particular website it will analyze it immediately and the ranking changes also would be happening in real time. Earlier webmasters had to wait for months for their changes to start taking effect. With this latest update one can expect quick results for the SEO work carried out on a website.

There is also a possibility that update of Penguin algorithm will be continuous going forward. Earlier updates to Google algorithm took a considerable amount of time. It used to take a year for the new updates to start rolling out, so if the news on the latest update are to be believed one can also expect continuous update of the algorithm on a constant basis with increased frequency. Google had recently admitted that penguin runs slowly and hence are working on an update that make the future updates continuous and automatic.
